What We Believe

Kepte is a faith based Christian non-profit organization. We understand that we live in a world where the lines of Christianity have begun to blur with the fallen values of this world.

At Kepte we also understand that the members of the Body of Christ encompass a variety of preferences in their worship and pursuit of God that are inconsequential to membership in the Kingdom of God.

Below you will find the fundamental values that Kepte holds and requires of those who wish to join the organization. This is not a comprehensive list of all beliefs held by members of the organization or Christians in general, but the Statement of Values is the minimum standard for direct participation in our organization.

At Kepte, exclusion is not our goal. Anyone who feels uncomfortable agreeing to Kepte's Statement of Values but wishes to champion Kepte's mission is welcome to join the mission! Kepte encourages anyone from any background to participate in supporting the organization through giving donations, sharing and interacting with Kepte content, and attending any Kepte events or activities.

The Statement of Values only limits involvement for roles that directly represent the organization.

Statement of Values

Statement of Values

  • The Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original documents, and the only final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

  • There is one God, the Creator of all things, infinitely holy and eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and sinlessly perfect. His sacrificial death on the cross is substitutionary and representative. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended to his Father’s right hand, where he now ministers as our Great High Priest. He will come again to receive his own unto himself and to reign in power and glory for all eternity.

  • Every man, woman, and child is created by God in God’s image, as either male or female. Therefore, each person, from conception to death—whether male or female, of every race, ethnicity, age, and ability—has intrinsic dignity and value, and should not be subject to undue discrimination or exploitation. Each member of the human race is fallen, sinful and lost, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation. Redemption is wholly by the blood of Christ, and salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit indwells the believer, who is sealed until the day of redemption and empowered to live a godly life, through the ongoing sanctification of the Holy Spirit.

  • The church is composed of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. All believers are united to him and one another by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Thus, the church is a living body, the Body of Christ.

  • God designed the nuclear family to be initiated by marriage, the permanent unification of one man and one woman for the purpose of intimate partnership, fruitful multiplication, and the raising and disciplining of children into adulthood. God designed a unique purpose for fathers and mothers to fulfill in the nuclear family and the absence of a father or mother (regardless of fault) represents an incomplete implementation of God’s design.

  • Kepte acknowledges the widespread confusion being pushed in modern culture around the topic of sex and gender. Given the value that God created men and women in his image as male or female as well as the value of the nuclear family being led by one man and one woman, Kepte feels compelled to explicitly articulate its belief in the following perspective.

  • Men are adult human males and women are adult human females. Fundamentally, the maleness and femaleness of an individual is determined by the genetic makeup of the individual, with males possessing XY chromosomes and females possessing XX chromosomes in their DNA. Of course, there exist rare abnormalities in individuals where XY and XX are not present the same way as the vast majority of the human population. However, these outlier circumstances do not invalidate the definition of male and female but instead represent an unfortunate deviation from what should have been the proper male development of XY chromosomes or proper female development XX chromosomes. Generally, maleness and femaleness can be determined by the presence of naturally occurring reproductive organs as well as other naturally occurring and easily observable physical features that are unique to males and females.
